The Language of Love
To grow us in Christ, God has planned it that we cannot become all He meant us to be alone. We need the gifts from the Body of Christ to help us—our destinies affect one another. The Bible calls this building up “one another”. This series studies several patterns of Scripture which uses “one another” phrases in the Bible:
1. Be Our Guest – The Language of Welcome
Through our tiredness and responsibilities, how do we keep focused on blessing others rather than gravitating to meeting our own needs? Through our busyness, how can we sustain a culture that joyfully connects to each other, thereby being attractive to the outside community?
2. Take Me by the Hand – The Language of Guidance
What happens where there are differences of opinion? How can we encourage one another to rise above the challenges of life? This message seeks to teach the language of speaking into one another’s lives.
3. All for One, One for All – The Language of Unity
What kind of fights should we have or not have? How do we overcome hurt and conflict as a community? This message seeks to teach the language of standing together as a God-team!
The phrases of “one another” in the New Testament gives the language of the God-designed culture that helps us grow in the love of Christ—a language of love!
